Meet Our Team!
Dionne Nicholson
Dionne is one of our directors and studio managers. She has been involved in dance for the last 18 years as both of her daughters have danced since toddlers. Dionne heads our administration and customer services to ensure that our students are getting the best out of their time at Dance24Seven. At Show time Dionne loves to turn her hand to wardrobe mistress and loves this creative aspect of her role!
Donny Waters
Studio Director, Tap Team Leader, Competition Troupes and Soles
Donny has been dancing since 4 years old and has turned her passion into a career. After many years as HOD of Dance at various high schools, Donny is now one of our full-time directors and managers. Donny has completed all the NZAMD tap syllabus, and competed at a national level under the direction of Anthony Murdoch. Donny oversees all staff and student development for D247.
Liza Gibbons
Jazz Team Leader, Senior Ballet, Competition Solos & Troupes
Liza heads up our Jazz team and has Diplomas in both Performing Arts, and Teaching of Performing Arts. She danced professionally from the age of 16 in New Zealand and travelled overseas to further her career. Upon her return she has constantly proven herself as a teacher of the highest standards. She loves the challenge of developing new dancers and extending senior dancers. Whilst she is heading up Jazz, Liza is also qualified in Ballet, Tap and Contemporary
Cailyn Selfe
Hip Hop Team Leader
Cailyn has been dancing since she was 4. She began with Jazz and has successfully completed her Pre-major Grade with Honours with Distinction for JDNZ. Recently she has also added Hip Hop to her style and has represented Massey High School at SDNZ and Stage Challenge and D247 as part of the Vilify Crew and the OR3O Crew competing at SDNZ, Battlegrounds and Dance Brandz. She then successfully auditioned for ID Company in 2016, and coming 4th at Worlds in Las Vegas with Masque. She is now studying towards a degree in Physiotherapy.
Patrick Sünderhauf
Contemporary
Patrick has a degree in Performing Arts - Dance , from the Hamburg Ballet School-John Neumeier after 9 years of training.
During his time as a dance student he danced in several stage performances of the 'John Neumeier' Dance Company-Hamburg, the State Opera Berlin and the Komische Opera Berlin. After finishing his professional career as a dancer in Europe Patrick went to a full time school in alternative medicine in Hamburg/ Germany. The final qualification in 'Touch for Health' Kinesiology program he gained in Auckland in 2013/14 with the International College of Kinesiology.

Zoë Nicholson
Contemporary, Jazz, Mini Movers, Competition Solos & Troupes
Zoë has a degree in Dance Studies from the University of Auckland. Zoë has been dancing since she was four years old, and now is a freelance choreographer and producer. Zoë has had experience dancing in RAD, NZAMD, JDNZ and BAL syllabuses, and has studied contemporary under some of New Zealand's top technical and choreographic artists. She has performed and choreographed for events such as Short and Sweet, Tempo Dance Festival, Grounded NZ.

Luka Campbell
Hip Hop Competitive Crew
Luka has been dancing since primary school and has since gone on to great things. Luka competed at the HHI with IDCO and Swagganauts. Luka now teaches our Hip Hop Competitive crews.
William Rakena
Hip Hip Competitive Crew
William has been dancing for several years, and has been competing with Dance 24 Seven for 2 years, earning many placings, including 2nd at PACANZ and a bid to compete in Florida next year. William has also danced in his school musical, gaining experience in musical theatre..
Jaimee Lawence
Ballet
Jaimee has had a huge passion for dance since the age of three. She has trained in most styles but majored in both ballet and contemporary. At the age of 17 Jaimee travelled overseas to Melbourne where she completed two years of full time study at the National Theatre Ballet school, then came back and completed an RAD Certificate in ballet teaching studies which was a 2 year course. Jaimee has been teaching full time for 4 years in various styles and is now a fully registered RAD and NZAMD teacher.
Heidi Salerda
Tap
Heidi grew up in South Africa and moved to New Zealand two and a half years ago with her family. She has started teaching again over the past year and has loved getting back into the dance world.
In South Africa she owned and ran her own dance studio for 15 years. She taught under the umbrella of the South African Dance Teachers Association and offered lessons in tap, modern and hip hop.
She represented South Africa at the Hip Hop World Championships in Bremen, Germany in 2002 and she was awarded her Springbok colours. She has also choreographed and performed in items at the Royal Albert Hall in London, representing the South African Fitness League in 2000 and 2010.
