For tweens and teens, dance is a creative outlet, a workout and a ready-made group of friends. At Dance24Seven, just a short drive from West Harbour in Whenuapai, older dancers train in jazz, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, tap and musical theatre. Dancers who want more can sit exams, perform on stage and audition for our competition troupes.

Where it can lead:

• Exams: RAD ballet, and APDA syllabi for jazz, tap, contemporary and hip hop

• Performing: every dancer can be part of our end-of-year show on a big stage

• Competition troupes and crews: for dedicated dancers, competing in Auckland and at National Championships

• Leadership: older students can become interns and teacher assistants
