Hip Hoppers sit exams too! Did you know that there is a huge history behind each style of Hip Hop, from breaking, locking, New School and New Jack. We work with APDA for the best exams around! All work is based on foundations.

Syllabus

Asia Pacific Dance Association's Urban Ignite syllabus is based on a variety of foundation styles, B-Boy/Girl, Locking and popping, Wacking and New Jack to name a few. Dancers are taken through the basic steps of each style building on each year to learn the correct techniques belonging to each style. We also offer scholarship level Hip Hop in the NZAMD syllabus.

Students work towards sitting a mid-year exam

Competition work is offered in crews. Entry is through invitation or audition processes.
